About Us

We are happy to take on projects which follow a particular theme or influence.  This garden was inspired by the clients love of Japanese gardens.  We wanted to borrow some of the concepts behind Japanese garden design and apply it to their beautifully-sited garden in St Chinian.

The use of local rocks to create a mountainous landscape in miniature was particularly successful, whilst the clients were able to incorporate stone features to evoke a Japanese ambiance.

Garden Plants

Below: Newly planted, the garden looks sparse, but it will soon be full of form and movement.  Carefully placed rocks reflect some of the philosophy behind Japanese garden design but are also a reference to the surrounding landscape.

Below: Planting colour schemes are in harmony with the gravel, stone and sculptures but add prettiness and warmth

Below: Gaura and grasses add movement, colour and softness
